Events & Workshops

Different events and workshops are offered through out the school year. The next workshop starts by learning the basics of representing form realistically. Step-by-step drawing instruction and teacher demonstrations with geometric shapes, enables students to create basic line drawings. Working from still lifes, landscapes, and students’ favorite images, they will learn the fundamental skills of both drawing and painting.

Students learn classical principles of drawing, while gradually training both eyes and hands, and get use to the elements and principles of art, like proportion, color, unity, texture, value and space (perspective). Advance students will continue enhancing their creative skills by doing more elaborated fine works. Although the main focus of this class is creating a final painting done in watercolor or acrylic painting, students will also learn to draw using different techniques, like graphite, color pencils, charcoal and pastels.

Students will gain confidence as they master the art techniques taught in this class.
